Clubroom Development Project
​​Our Clubroom development project was completed towards the end of summer 2024. The official opening was conducted by special guest Pete Waterman on the 7th September 2024.​​​​​​​​​​​

with Duxbury in the distance but before other layouts arrive
​​​Members are now able to access the new first floor which is fully accessible using the lift installed as part of the project. We are now able to welcome visitors once more on any Thursday evening as club nights have recommenced.​​
Clubhouse Development Project Background
At an EGM held on the 18th January 2024 members of the Leamington & Warwick Model Railway Society decided to go ahead with the long planned project to install a new floor in the building occupied by the club almost doubling the floor space available.
Consequently the club rooms closed with immediate effect to enable the work to commence.
This is a major building project and will be completed in stages. It was expected that the ground floor would re-open during the summer of 2024 and then further works would be required to bring the new floor into use by the end of the summer. This was achieved and progressively areas of the building were brought back into use as re-decoration was completed. The building was formally opened in September of 2024. Snagging working and rectification work required by the local authority building control continued in 2025.
The Outdoor track continued to operate throughout the development project but toilet and kitchen facilities were closed while the initial phase of the project was under way.
