With regret we have to confirm the CANCELLATION the 2018 Exhibition.

The weather has deteriorated significantly in south Warwickshire this evening and the forecast has now changed with the Amber warning zone extending in our direction.

Just after 20:15 this evening I was informed by the College Estates team that the Leamington site would be closed tomorrow and therefore it would not be possible to build the show.

Set in South Wales, Aber Emlyn (Welsh for mouth of the Emlyn) forms the terminus of a short branch line connected to the main railway network by a triangular junction. Considerable coal traffic is generated by the colliery located just off the area modelled and there are regular branch and secondary passenger services. A freight train puts in an appearance occasionally.

In the last two years we have increased the range of our signals, returning many old classic’s as well as introducing many new variants. This year we have introduced a range of yard lamps, and look forward to introducing many more in the years to come. All of our signals are compatible with block signal’s modules and a range of them are available to buy from us.

A Number of problem solving video’s are ready to stream on Our help section and Our YouTube channel so why not visit.

We have been involved in layout construction for many years as part of our model railway hobby, with experience in both DC and DCC installations.

Elite baseboards can construct our boards in many variations with open or closed frames, and can supply your next dream layout, have a look at our growing Installations category for layouts we have in build or completed. (note: not all layouts we build are in this list as we respect or customers and always ask permission before publishing any layout)

The European Railways Association - a society open to everyone interested in the railways of Europe.

Founded in Autumn 2013, this new association is for everyone interested in European railways, whether in full size or model. The ERA is solely web based although you may encounter our promotional stands at UK railway and model railway events. We welcome all prototype enthusiasts and modellers across the Continent irrespective of country, scale, gauge and make. Although occasional technical terms will appear in their native languages, our website is fully English language based.

We are THE organisation catering for both new and veteran railway modellers working in 4mm scale using a track gauge of 16.5mm - the most common for models of UK prototypes.

Our objectives are-

To welcome ALL modellers with an interest in OO.

How the Society functions

The Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society has real and effective control over the Talyllyn Railway. The Society's Council of twenty, half subject to re-election at each year's Annual General Meeting, nominates three directors to the Board of the Talyllyn Railway Company. The other two directors are appointed by a descendant of Sir Haydn Jones, the former owner of the line.

The 2mm Scale Association exists to promote and facilitate modelling at the scale of 2mm:1ft. The scale has a long history as the smallest practical finescale standard.

By joining the Association, members gain access to a wealth of knowledge and our exclusive component range designed to enable simple and accurate construction.

The Scalefour Society caters for the needs of railway modellers working to the scale of 4mm/ft (1:76.2), the most popular of the British model railway scales. It promotes and encourages the use of effective modelling techniques and fine scale standards among all 4mm railway modellers with a particular emphasis on the use of scale wheels and track.

This web site contains a great deal of information for all modellers and is a showcase for the Society. It also contains our Forum, where you can read about many aspects of finescale modelling.

009 Society - the world's largest small scale narrow gauge modelling group aimed at those modelling narrow gauge railways of scales around the 3.5 - 4mm to the foot.

We aim to cater for all aspects of small scale narrow gauge railway modelling, both for the beginner and the experienced modeller alike, for the scratch-builder. the kit builder and the modeller who prefers proprietary ready to run equipment. Whether you are an active modeller or an armchair modeller, you will find a welcome in the 009 SOCIETY.

Based in south Warwickshire, we boast a private quarter acre water with unlimited daytime access, a clubhouse and free parking.

A  club which prides itself on having a friendly and very helpful membership. We sail electric, steam and yachts, sorry no IC. The clubhouse has tea/coffee making facilities with integral toilet.Disabled parking and wheel chair access also catered for. An informal gathering for general sailing in a relaxed atmosphere on Thursday.

MERG (Model Electronic Railway Group) is an international, UK based group promoting interest in the application of electronics & computers to all aspects of railway modelling.

Founded in 1967, the Group’s aim is to actively promote and advance the use of electronic and computer technology for model railway operation, which is ideally suited to take advantage of these technologies, and the application of electronics and computers can be used to good effect to add enhanced features and realism to model railway operation.

MERG celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017 – we have come a long way from the early days in 1967 when a small bunch of electronics enthusiasts got together to swap notes and ideas about model railway control and add-on widgets to enliven layouts.

What Is The HMRS?

The Historical Model Railway Society is a UK Registered Educational Charity "founded in 1950 by historians and modellers to collect and exchange records, drawings and photographs in the interests of historical accuracy in modelling". (Andrew Dow in The Oxford Companion to British Railway History, Simmons & Biddle (editors), OUP 1997)

The Society maintains a strong commitment toward obtaining, storing and distributing information of value and integrity. Material placed in its care will be treated with due regard to its information value.

The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway is a volunteer operated heritage railway in Gloucestershire offering a round trip of over 24 miles. It uses part of the route of the former Great Western Railway's main line from Birmingham to Cheltenham which used to run via Stratford-upon-Avon.

It now operates steam and heritage diesel trains between Cheltenham Racecourse and Laverton through some of the most spectacular scenery in the Cotswolds. The line commands wonderful views of the nearby sleepy hamlets and villages, with outstanding outlooks across to the Malvern Hills and beyond. The railway is in the process of being extended to Broadway in Worcestershire.
