Late changes to layouts

We're sorry to hear that the Pyn Valley Tramway will not be with us this weekend, due to health issues. We look forward to seeiing Christopher another time.

We are also sorry to hear that Klinkerhofen will not be attending this year either. However, its owner Norman Raven will instead be bringuing us THE GREAT WHITE RIVER NAVIGATION, EXTRACTION and STEAM PACKET COMPANY. This is a new layout, and this will be its second exhibition appearance.

Exhibition: 2nd-3rd March 2019

Only a few days left! - All systems go.

With days to go, we have updated the website with details of all stands, layouts and societies at the exhibition. This includes the all-important information about stand numbers and in which areas of the exhibition the stands are located.

This year, we have a new area on the upper balcony on the second floor, which was used for the MERG anniversary celebrations two years ago. This time, it's a general exhibition area, primarily dedicated to larger scale model railways.

We have a total of 75 stands this year, with 26 featuring layouts, in a wide variety of scales and sizes, 32 traders, including 3 new traders to our show this year, and 18 societies, covering model railways, other modeling, and the prototype railways.

See full details here on our website.

Annual exhibition

Exhibition Introduction

The 44th Annual Leamington & Warwick Model Railway Exhibition

will take place on

Saturday 2nd March 2019 from 10am until 5pm

and

Sunday 3rd March 2019 from 10am until 4pm

 Royal Leamington Spa College

Warwick New Road, Leamington Spa, CV32 5JE

After the unfortunate cancellation of the March 2018 exhibition, due to the dangerous conditions, we look forward to welcoming you all back for our 2019 exhibition. The exhibition will be held at the same venue as the last few - the Royal Leamington Spa College on the Warwick New Road in the Warwick end of Leamington Spa.

Enclosed below is the front of the exhibition flyer which gives the basic information about the exhibition. As far as the content of the exhibition is concerned, we've tried to keep to the same exhibitors, layouts and traders as we had booked for last year. Obviously a few have changed, mainly due to layout availability, so as final details are confirmed we'll be adding further details to the other exhibition pages here on the website.

Our seven club layouts in various stages of construction in N, OO, EM, P4 and O gauges regularly appearing on the exhibition circuit and in the modelling press.

Visitors are welcome to come along to our club night on any Thursday evening from 7:30pm. You will be guaranteed a warm welcome with plenty of interest for all levels of modelling skill or just the opportunity to chat with members or browse the extensive club library.

Our next  exhibition will be the 44th and is on

Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd March 2019

We are just minutes from M40 J12.

Leave the M40 at Junction 12, turning right to travel on the B4451 towards Bishops Itchington.

The shortest route is to use a single track lane which is a small turning right off the B4451 about 150 yards north of the M40 overbridge.  Follow this lane, called Knightcote Bottoms, for about 1.7 miles to a cross roads. Turn right towards Knightcote. Shortly after the 30mph sign there is a sign for Knightcote on the right hand side. Immediately in front of the sign is a small farm lane with a sign to New House Farm where you may also be able to see a 2C plate on a post. Turn into the lane and follow it round until you enter a large yard surrounded by barns where members' cars are parked. Park up and you will see a glass door in the barn where you can ring the bell for entry - we take security very seriously.
