1   Link   German Railway Society
The German Railway Society was founded in 1981. Membership is over 620 throughout the world and is growing steadily each year. Our aim is to encourage interest in all aspects of German railways and, to a lesser extent, Austrian railways. Whilst we do not intend to duplicate the worthy work done by other societies, it is impossible to separate many of the aspects of the German and Austrian systems. We welcome all interests, prototype enthusiasts and modellers irrespective of scale and make of model railway. We are a national society with local groups who hold meetings in many areas of Britain.
2   Link   The Great Eastern Railway Society
We hope visitors will find plenty of interest about the former Great Eastern Railway (GER), its predecessors and its successors, such as the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER), British Railways (BR), Network Rail and the current privatised Train Operating Companies (TOCs) operating in the East Anglia area.
3   Link   The Gresley Society
Sir Nigel Gresley was one of the great engineers of the golden afternoon of steam traction. More than sixty years after his death, his fame continues, not least in the locomotives he designed which can still be seen today, including Mallard - which still holds the world speed record for steam traction - and the immortal Flying Scotsman.

To sustain the legacy, the Gresley Society takes as its object “to promote interest in the work of Sir Nigel Gresley”
4   Link   Irish Railway Record Society
The IRRS Journal contains a wealth of news and articles covering all aspects of Railways in Ireland. Members receive our Journal, three issues per year, which provides articles on Irish rail transport past and present, and a comprehensive record of current Irish developments,
5   Link   London and North Western Railway Society
We aim to collect and disseminate information about the London and North Western Railway, its constituents and its successors. We are interested in the infrastructure of the railway, the men and women who made it work, as well as the engines and rolling stock which it built and used. We aim to help modellers, preservationists, historians and those with just a passing interest in the LNWR.
6   Link   Southern Railways Group
The Group was formed over 40 years ago to study and disseminate information about the Southern Railway, British Railways (Southern Region), its successors and minor railways in southern England. Publications include data sheets, a bi-monthly newsletter, and a quarterly magazine.
7   Link   South Western Circle
The Historical Society for the London & South Western Railway. The South Western Circle, formed in 1962, is a society for railway historians and enthusiasts interested in the London & South Western Railway (LSWR).
8   Link   Warwickshire Railways
This site is created for the railway enthusiast, local historian and railway modeller by fellow enthusiasts. It is not intended to be the definitive history of the county's railway nor hopefully will it be just the work of the current contributors.
