International Toy Fair Nürnberg 2012
I got back from Germany late last night after a 10 hour drive by myself - partly through a snow blizzard at -12°C - so I'm a bit zonked out. I'll be posting the photos today and I'll then add text explaining what I saw, who I met and what other news I have. Stay tuned.

TCDD 45161 Turkish Railways Class 45000
Hornby have produced an exclusive and limited (only 200 pcs) 8F for Proses with TCDD 45161 plates. This loco is the sister of TCDD 45160 which is currently operational on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway in UK.
There is a limited number of the models available so get in touch with Proses if you are interested (Email: info@proses.com).

Noch Laser-Cut Small Mine "Victoria" with Extension Kit
Matching the Märklin 2011 annual topic "Montanunion", NOCH has produced the small mine "Victoria" with loading chutes. The mine can be extended with the separately available loading facility. Both kits are made by the popular NOCH Laser-Cut technology, lasered from a special coloured laser cardboard. Including glue for assembly. The NOCH Laser-Cut kits are produced in a limited edition of 1.000 pieces. Each kit contains a numbered certificate.
Small Mine "Victoria" Basic Kit
The small shaft facility does not need much space and therefore, it can be also installed on small model railway layouts. The shaft house is a slim, iron-tied brick building. Hoist house and headframe are in a steel-profile design. Thus, this mine can be used as coal or salt mining. The position of the headframe to the engine house can be varied. The chutes are suitable for railcargo or truck loading.
Size Small Mine:
- Hoist house with loading chutes: 19,5 x 17,5 cm, 26,1 cm high (7.68 x 6.89 in., 10.28 in. high)
- Engine house: 10,6 x 11,2 cm, 10,2 cm high (4.17 x 4.41 in., 4.02 in. high)
"Loading Facility" Extension Kit
The loading facility allows the loading of the bulk minerals on up to three tracks. The headroom for loading is suitable for all H0 track systems. Thanks to this extension, even bigger mines can be replicated.
